Tarrazú SHB San Rafael

Exceptional high-grown Arabica coffee from the mountains of Tarrazú. Cultivated in rich volcanic soil and harvested at high elevations, delivering vibrant acidity, elegant sweetness, and a remarkably clean finish.

THE ORIGIN

Born in the Highlands. Perfected by Altitude.

South of San José lies the legendary Tarrazú region, one of the most celebrated coffee-growing areas in Costa Rica. Protected by mountain ranges and influenced by Pacific moisture, the region provides ideal conditions for producing world-class Arabica coffee.

Tarrazú SHB San Rafael is cultivated at elevations reaching 1,200–2,000 meters above sea level. The cool temperatures and extended maturation period allow coffee cherries to develop exceptional density, sweetness, and complexity.

The volcanic soils, abundant sunshine, and carefully controlled washed processing create a cup known for its clarity, bright citrus character, and smooth finish. International cuppers have recognized San Rafael as one of the finest expressions of Tarrazú coffee.
